　INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND EXCHANGES

　Experiences from Others May Help One to Overcome One's Difficulties:CLSSPH Is Broadening Its Ways in International Copyright Cooperation
　　 CLSSPH has been making great efforts in international cooperation,and we have sent 15 visiting groups,involving 79 persons,to related organizations in 11 countrise in the past 20 years.As the publishing organization appointed by International Labour Organization (ILO) to publish its publications,CLSSPH has managed to translate and publish more than 30 kinds of important works and reports as well as the Chinese edition of the World of Work,a periodical of ILO,in more than 10 years.Relying on its resources in labour and social security,CLSSPH published a set of series,namely,A Series of Social Security Translations,including some internationally influential works in social security,which promote international cooperation and exchanges in this area.In the meantime,some outstanding results were also seen in international cooperation on publishing employment-oriented education and occupational training materials.In 2001,with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of China and Microsoft Corporation,CLSSPH concluded an agreement with Microsoft Press on the so-called'Bilaterally Recognized Training Materials for National Occupation Qualification in IT'.Now all of the materials,composed of six series and 24 books,have been published.Up to now,we have established copyright cooperation relationship with 20 publishing organizations in the world,including some reputable publishing houses in USA,Germany,Great Britain,Japan and Canada,such as Oxford University Press,Career Press,Cornelsen Verlag,Gower Publishing Limited,Macmillan Group,and Microsoft Press.The cooperation in social security,human resources,occupational training is coming out with good results and great prospects.

　　 Since 1995,CLSSPH has experienced annual sales in excess of 100 million yuan, with a profit of 20 million yuan,and 2,000 kinds of publications in the market.
